ABOUT RYAN WANG ______________________________________ Ryan Wang is a Canadian pianist considered to be a child prodigy. In 2013, Ryan was awarded the First Place and Judges’ Distinction in American Protégé International Music Talent Competition and was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall at the age of five. Ryan began playing piano at the age of four and was a student of Professor Lee Kum Sing at the Vancouver Academy of Music since 2014. A prolific performer, he has won top honors and scholarships in numerous Canadian and International Competitions. Currently, he is under tutelage at Collingwood school in Vancouver Canada. The talented child prodigy has performed at numerous events including the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Yundi Li's New Year Concert (Beijing), Canadian Prime Minister's residence and Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). Ryan has also participated in many fundraising concerts to support the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, Vancouver hospitals and social programmes, and elementary schools in China in need of funding. He has previously performed in Singapore in 2014 and 2017.
ABOUT SAMANTHA PERMATA SURYA ______________________________________ 14 year-old Samantha Permata Surya is an exceptionally talented young singer, currently learning under the guidance of Ms Khor Ai Ming. She has attained many awards in recent years, including but not limited to, finishing runner-up at the ZhongSin (China-Singapore) 11th International Music Competition 2017 Amateur Level Category and runner-up for the American Protégé 2018 Musical Theatre Category. Samantha also performed successfully at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, Esplanade Theatre and Star Performing Art Centre in 2017 and at the Carnegie Hall, New York in 2018.
ABOUT CHILDREN'S CANCER FOUNDATION ______________________________________ Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) isa non-profit organisation with a mission to improve the quality of life of children with cancer and their families and children impacted by cancer through enhancing their emotional, social and medical well-being. Founded in 1992, CCF provides children with cancer and their families the much needed support in their battle against the life threatening illness. Over the years, CCF has helped more than 3000 children and their families at different stages of the illness and recovery.
